CANADA Manitoba
What I like most about working at CMIS Canada is the positive energy and sense of community. The hallways of CMIS are filled with life, creativity, learning and most of all smiles. This has been reason enough for me as an educator to have continued to grow with the institute for over half a decade now. As an educator I have found CMIS Canada to offer the necessary tools, safe environment, professional opportunities, challenges, and resources to help me as well as our students achieve success, support and growth. The strength and core of CMIS lies strongly within its dedicated professional staff. Through teamwork, sharing, and collaborating, we facilitate learning opportunities for students that follow current curriculum objectives and CMIS and its students. One of the benefits of working at CMIS Canada is the ability to have a voice and have the staff participate in planning, extra-curricular activities, and events. This is vital for professional growth, leadership experience, and an overall sense of community. CMIS Canada allows me to work where my passion is, while exploring and experiencing the beautiful culture of Korea while still having strong educational connections within Canada. CMIS is a special place that I am proud to be a part of. I am excited to see what the future brings for the students, staff, and community of CMIS Canada. “Don’t Forget To Smile”.

The decision to return to CMIS Canada was an easy one! It’s rare that people can say they wake up every day excited to go to work and love what they do, so I feel very fortunate that I’ve been able to work at such a great place and say that I truly do love my job.

One of the reasons I love working at CMIS so much is the fantastic students. They are hardworking, energetic, and caring. To work with youth who care so much about learning is extremely rewarding. At CMIS I get to work with students in comfortable class sizes, with up-to-date technology, and great amount of resources to help facilitate their learning experiences. Despite the fact that teaching is a challenging job, the committed students at CMIS make it all worthwhile.

The CMIS community is both vibrant and unique, making it an excellent learning environment for teachers and staff too. As someone who came as a relatively new teacher, I found that CMIS was a great place to actually apply what I had studied and practiced in teacher’s college in the classroom every day. The supportive administration at CMIS are very helpful, whether it comes to giving feedback to staff, providing professional development opportunities, or the overall effectiveness and organization.

This CMISl is a good place for those who are interested in continuing their own professional learning journeys as well. The hardworking teachers are always collaborating and learning from each other, sharing what they know regarding quality education. I believe that every single teacher here understands the importance of growth and the staff working together as a team to provide the best education for students. Moving to a new country to live and work can be intimidating, but having a great group of staff has made that experience much easier.

The CMIS community of staff and students are like a family; we all work together to make the world-class education at CMIS the best that it can be. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be employed in Korea. I’m thrilled to be a part of this dynamic team again and am excited for what the year will bring. Like I said, I really love this job and I love CMIS!

Expect great things at CMIS for the 2016-2017 academic year! The staff is very collaborative, and the students are challenged on a daily basis to do their best and to work hard. We have very high expectations here for them, and we push students to succeed not only in academics, but in life. That is why we want YOU to come join our team!

My name is Mr. Czech, and I have the great pleasure of being at CMIS for a second year. Many of my colleagues and I have been in education for three or more years, so I'm proud to say that we work hard as a team! Compared to North America where class sizes are over 25 students and educational supplies are limited, CMIS is much smaller and focused. Expect that you will be in a working environment of less than 30 teachers and your neighbor says 'hello' to you every morning. That's how we do it here at CMIS!

We look forward to having you as a part of our team!
